Your CSA membership is managed with an online program from the Family Fermers Network. This program allows you to manage your delivery schedule, to update your personal profile and contact info, to make special orders online during the season and to renew your membership. The following guide will help you navigate the online tool.

Vacations and missed basket options

What to do if you can’t pick up your basket at the regular date and time?

Option 1) Send someone to pick up the basket in your place. No need to confirm in advance with us. We don’t need to know the name of the person picking up in your place, but they will need to give us your name.

Option 2) Use the online calendar to change your delivery dates or locations. You must make your changes at least 48 hours in advance of the delivery you want to change. Scheduling and location changes are subject to weekly harvest capacity. If your regular delivery location is at capacity you can choose another location with space.

Option 3) Use the online calendar to credit your account for the value of up to 2 additional baskets. You must make your changes at least 48 hours in advance of the delivery you want credited. You can use this credit for add-on orders or at our kiosk at the Wakefield Market. Credits must be redeemed before the end of the CSA season.

Option 4) If you simply miss or forget your basket without notification you can arrange to pick up your veggies at the following locations. You must contact us one day in advance to confirm your alternate pick up choice.

  • At the Wakefield Market on the Saturday after your regular scheduled delivery Map
  • At the farm anytime until the Sunday after your regular scheduled delivery. Your veggies will be in a labelled box in our coldroom. Map

How to change your delivery schedule using the online calendar

  • If you want to shift your entire bi-weekly schedule by one week, please contact us directly so we can make the change for you.

Access your online calendar (you may be prompted to enter the email address you used to register)

  • Click on the basket or star symbol on the date of the delivery you want to move.
  • A list of all available delivery dates and locations will appear.
  • Click on the desired delivery location at the desired date, il will be highlighted in green if successful.
  • Go to the very end of the form, and click on the green button to move the delivery.

How to obtain a credit for a vacation basket

Access your online calendar (you may be prompted to enter the email address you used to register)

  • Click on the basket symbol at the date you want reimbursed.
  • A list of all available delivery dates and locations will appear.
  • At the bottom of the form, click on the “reimburse to slate” button.
  • A confirmation message will appear, click to continue.
  • The credit is transferred to your account and can be used to purchase baskets or add-ons in the future.

How to adjust your 20-minute delivery window (Ottawa drop-off)

Access your online calendar (you may be prompted to enter the email address you used to register)

  • Near the top of the page you’ll see: Your pick-up schedule, summer 2020: from (time) to (time).
  • Click on “Pick your preference“.
  • Choose a new time from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on “Send” to confirm.

Health protocols at delivery locations

Val-Tétreau, Lascelles, At the farm: Regular shares will be in small blue bins. Family-size shares will be in large blue bins and labelled “FAMILLE”.

  1. Arrive within your selected time slot (if sapplicable at your drop-off). If you miss your time slot please wait until there are fewer than 10 people in line.
  2. Practice social distancing.
  3. Please disenfect your hands before you begin.
  4. Check next to your name on the delivery list.
  5. Choose the box on the top of the stack. Do not touch or open other boxes.
  6. If necessary move the box 2m away from the stack so others can access the boxes. Transfer the veggies into your own box or bags.
  7. Stack your empty box and lid.

Wakefield, Ottawa: Your vegetables will be packed for you at the drop-off:

  1. Arrive within your selected time slot. If you miss your time slot or if there are already 10 people in line please wait until there are fewer than 10 people present.
  2. Practice social distancing and keep 2m from the vegetable boxes.
  3. Give your name to the host.
  4. The host will accompany you from the other side of the table and put your veggie choices in a bin.
  5. At the end of the table disenfect your hands then transfer your veggies from the bin into your own bags or boxes.
  6. Boxes will be cleaned between uses.
