MEMBERS’ ZONE

Your veggie basket membership is managed by the Family Farmers Network. Manage your delivery schedule, update your profile and contact info, make special orders online during the season and renew your membership. The following guide will help you navigate the online tool.

Basket scheduling policies

  • You are responsible for managing your delivery schedule, account and contact information.
  • If you miss or forget your basket, you are responsible for contacting us to make alternate plans.
  • You can change your schedule up to 48 before your delivery.
  • You can reschedule as many baskets as you need to within the season you’ve registered for.
  • Scheduling and location changes are subject to harvest and delivery capacity.
  • You can credit the value of up to five baskets to your account.
  • Credits must be redeemed before the end of the basket season and unused credits are non-refundable.

Vacations and missed basket options

What to do if you can’t pick up your basket at the regular date and time?

Option 1) Send someone to pick up the basket in your place. We don’t need to know the name of the person picking up in your place, but they will need to give us your name.

Option 2) Use the online calendar to change your delivery dates or locations. You can choose any alternative date or location listed on the calendar (including the Wakefield Market on Saturdays).

Option 3) Add the value of the missed basket on your online credit. You can use this credit to buy more baskets or bulk seasonal veggies.

Option 4) If you simply miss or forget your basket without letting us know you can arrange to pick up your veggies at the following locations.

  • At the Wakefield Market during market season on the Saturday after your regular scheduled delivery.
  • At the farm on the weekend after your regular scheduled delivery. Your veggies will be in a labelled box in our cold room.

How to change your delivery schedule using the online calendar

  • If you want to shift your entire bi-weekly schedule by one week, please contact us directly so we can make the change for you.

Access your online calendar (you may be prompted to enter the email address you used to register)

  • Click on the green basket below the date of the delivery you want to move. (Add-on orders will be noted with a green star. You’ll need to move those orders, too.)
  • A list of all available delivery dates and locations will appear in a pop-up window.
  • Click on the desired delivery location at the desired date, it will be highlighted in green if successful.
  • Click on the green button at the bottom of the window to confirm the move.

How to manage your online credits (the “slate”)

Our online credit system makes it easy to manage the value of your veggie share. Use the slate to:

  • Collect discounts for early registration and other promotions.
  • Put the value of vacation baskets on your account to use later.
  • Use credits to buy additional baskets or items from the online store.
  • You can get credit for up to half of your veggie shares.
  • Credits must be redeemed before the end of the CSA season – no refunds for unclaimed credits.

To view your account balance, access your order history. Your balance is listed below your order history. You can also view your balance from the online boutique.


How to obtain a credit for a vacation basket

Access your online calendar (you may be prompted to enter the email address you used to register)

  • Click on the green basket below the delivery date you want to credit.
  • At the bottom of the form, click on the “reimburse to slate” button.
  • A confirmation message will appear, click to continue.

How to order from the online boutique

Connect to the online boutique (enter the email address you used to register for your CSA basket)

  • If you are not logged in automatically, login to view your balance.
  • Select from the list of items for sale.
  • Click on the cart icon on the upper right to finalize your order.
  • Select the delivery location and delivery date for your order.
  • Click the order button on the lower right to confirm.
  • The invoice will appear on the screen and a copy will be emailed to you.
  • If you have a credit on your account the cost will automatically be debited. Any remaining balance will be invoiced.

Protocol at delivery locations

Lascelles and at the farm
  • Please respect the farm’s or store’s current health protocols.
  • Check next to your name on the delivery list.
  • Choose the box on the top of the stack. Regular shares will be in small blue bins. Family-size shares will be in large blue bins and labelled “FAMILLE”. Please do not touch or open other boxes.
  • Transfer the veggies into your own box or bags.
  • Stack your empty box and lid.
Wakefield and Ottawa
  • Please respect the host’s or municipality’s current health protocols.
  • Give your name to the farmer hosting the drop-off. Hi!
  • Have a look over the list of veggies on the blackboard. The veg will be in boxes in the same order on the table. Some items will be bunched or bagged, others will be measured into quarts or pints. You may be prompted to choose between 2-3 items, or take a mix of like items.
  • If you get a family share the host will indicate which items you can double up on.
  • Move along the table, moving the right quantities or choices of veggies from the boxes into your own bags or boxes.
  • If you like, you can put one item in the exchange box at the end of the table and take one item out.
